Big Green Machine Case Study
A global renowned manufacturer implemented the Big Green Machine in their finishing system and realized the following benefits:
1. Elimination of water used by 3000 gallons per day for a total of 900,000 gallons annually. The Big Green Machine uses no water in the process.
2. Eliminated the use of natural gas by 103,955 MCF/yr and appreciated the associated savings. The Big Green Machine process is used at ambient plant temperature.
3. Reduced the amount of electricity used in the process by 132,165 KWH and appreciated the associated savings. The Big Green Machine requires only one pump vs. multiple pumps on multi-stage pre-treatment systems.
4. Eliminated 64,000 gallons of contaminated water from waste stream and appreciated the associated savings (including the savings from the chemical treatment of the overflow stages, labor costs, transportation costs, permits costs, etc.). The Big Green Machine has no waste water generated and no disposal costs.
5. Reduced the amount of hours for maintenance, downtime and line gaps by 4,000 hours annually and appreciated the associated savings. The Big Green Machine does not require line gaps and is virtually maintenance free.
